Urothelial Carcinoma-In-Situ : Pagetoid Spread

Urothelial carcinoma-in-situ with cancerization of the adjacent normal urothelium. The voluminous neoplastic cells of CIS are seen spreading along the surface, undermining or overriding the normal urothelial lining. Pagetoid spread is a common finding when there is multifocal, diffuse CIS of the bladder.
