Urothelial Carcinoma-In-Situ

Urothelial carcinoma-in-situ in an elderly patient that was refractory to therapy. There were multiple recurrences after several rounds of intravesical BCG therapy and interferon therapy. Cystectomy may be considered in such cases. The tumor cells are highly pleomorphic and appear discohesive. The next image shows diffuse p53 positivity in this case.
