Classical Hodgkin Lymphoma, Lymphocyte-depleted, comprises less than 5% of all Hodgkin lymphomas. In the diffuse fibrosis subtype, there is progressive sclerosis over time and the number of lymphocytes decreases. In the reticular subtype (shown here), numerous Reed-Sternberg cells are seen in a background of neutrophils, eosinophils, and macrophages. The differential diagnosis includes large cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma, sarcoma, and metastatic carcinoma.
