This high-power view of the previous image shows a variable architectural pattern typical of chondroid syringoma, even within a single lobule. Notice the single cells (myoepithelial cells) in the myxoid stroma that resemble cartilage. These myoepithelial cells blend with irregular cords and small nests in the more fibrous stroma.
