Complete Hydatidiform Mole : Myxoid stroma

Comments:
High-power view showing club-shaped villi in a complete mole. Between 5% to 15% of patients with complete moles may develop persistent gestational trophoblastic neoplasia requiring chemotherapy. Serial determinations of serum hCG levels are helpful in optimizing treatment.
