Comments:
Kaposi sarcoma of stomach in a 60 y/o renal transplant recepient. This malignant vascular tumor, which here shows focal hemosiderin deposition and rare hyaline globules, is typically seen in AIDS patients but can occur in any immunocompromised state. An immunohistochemical stain for HHV8 (LANA-1) is fairly specific for this entity.
