Clear Cell Carcinoma

Clear cell carcinomas (CCC) of the ovary usually show moderate to severe cytologic atypia consisting of eccentric hyperchromatic nuclei and prominent nucleoli. All CCC are considered high-grade by default. This image shows sheets of highly pleomorphic tumor cells with irregular hyperchromatic nuclei.
