Comments:
FLC tumor cells have large nuclei with prominent nucleoli and abundant granular cytoplasm. As in conventional HCC, there may be acinar structures, bile production (as seen here), multinucleated tumor cells, and fat. FLC tumor cells also commonly contain hyaline eosinophilic d-PAS+ globules (C-reactive protein, fibrinogen, alpha-1 antitrypsin) and "pale bodies" (fibrinogen, albumin).
