Comments:
Multinodular goiter presenting as a non-tender, swelling on the anterior aspect of the neck in a 60 y/o male. The swelling was bilateral and measured 10 cm in size. It had grown slowly over last 20 years to attain its current size. It was multinodular with cystic and firm areas. The patient was not from an endemic area for goiters but had a strong family history of similar thyroid swellings in mother, younger brother and sister. The patient was euthyroid without any toxic features.
