Comments:
The image shows replacement of the lymphoid follicles of the white pulp by neoplastic cells. The marginal zone is expanded. The germinal center is infiltrated by neoplastic cells. Immunophenotypically, the prototypic case is CD20+, BCL2+ve, IgD+ve, CD3-ve, CD23-ve, CD43-ve, CD38-ve, CD5-ve, CD10-ve, BCL6-ve, cyclin D1-ve, and annexin A1-ve. MIB-1 shows high labeling index in the marginal zone as well as in the residual germinal center.
