Papillary Renal Cell Carcinoma

Comments:
A large encapsulated tumor is seen extending beyond the renal capsule and involving the renal sinus. The cut surface has variable texture and color. A solid brown area on the left is distinct from the hemorrhagic and necrotic aspect on the right. The final diagnosis was papillary renal cell carcinoma. Image copyright: pathorama.ch
