Comments:
Solid pseudopapillary tumors of pancreas are well-demarcated, usually by a fibrous capsule, and may show solid (left) and hemorrhagic cystic areas (right) without internal septation. Both a capsule and hemorrhagic cystic degeneration are important clues to the diagnosis, since these features are not usually identified in other pancreatic neoplasms. These tumors tend to be evenly distributed throughout the pancreas, range in size from 0.5 to 25 cm, and have a mean diameter of 9 to 10 cm. Image Copyright: pathorama.ch.
