Comments:
Grossly, smaller fibrosarcomas are usually well-circumscribed and may even be partially or completely encapsulated. Larger tumors (such as the one shown in this image) tend to infiltrative and often show multiple processes extending out into the surrounding tissues. The cut surface is soft to firm, fleshy, and gray-white. The location of this tumor was deep soft tissues of the upper arm.
