Comments:
Cowper's glands (also known as bulbourethral glands) are a pair of small glands located in the urogenital diaphragm in the males. They are beneath the prostate and postero-lateral to the membranous urethra. They secrete a clear, slightly thick lubricating fluid which is conveyed via a duct into the urethra at the base of the penis. Occasionally, they may be sampled in prostate needle biopsies where they mimic foamy gland variant of prostatic adenocarcinoma.
