HMWCK + p63 in Prostate Cancer

Comments:
The image shows a focus of foamy gland variant of prostatic adenocarcinoma. The glands are intermediate to large size with abundant foamy cytoplasm and small hyperchromatic nuclei without prominent nucleoli. Basal cell layer is absent with HMWCK + p63 immunostain. Note the basal cells in the benign gland on the left which serves as a nice internal positive control.
