Comments:
Clear cell sarcoma-like tumor of the gastrointestinal tract (also referred to as Malignant Gastrointestinal Neuroectodermal Tumor) is a rare highly aggressive tumor that resembles clear cell sarcoma of soft parts. It typically involves the ileum in young and middle-aged adults, although any part of the gastrointestinal tract may be affected. The tumor is centered within the bowel wall and involves the serosal and the mucosal layers. Image courtesy of: Michael Feely, DO, University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida, USA.
