Malignant extrarenal rhabdoid tumor arises in the deep soft tissues particularly in the paraspinal region and the neck. It is usually seen in children and young adults (age range 2 to 18 years). The tumor has soft, fleshy, pink-tan appearance with foci of hemorrhage and necrosis.

The image shows sheets of epithelioid cells with abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm.
