Leiomyoma of Small Bowel

Comments:
This leiomyoma appears to be arising from the muscularis propria of the small intestine and measured 2cm in diameter. Leiomyomas may also arise from the muscularis mucosae, but these are typically smaller. The smooth, round contour, heterogeneity, and lack of necrosis indicate that the tumor is benign.
