Besides hemosiderin and dystrophic calcification, arterious and venous vessels, adipose tissue, and nerves may be present in the testicular remnant. Most cases of monorchidism result from a vascular lesion or intrauterine torsion compromising circulation in the developing gonads.   return to Infertility
