Comments:
High power view of sclerosing epithelioid fibrosarcoma (SEF) showing resemblance to carcinoma. Studies have shown the same translocation in SEF that was previously detected in 95% of low-grade fibromyxoid sarcomas (LGFMS): t(7;16) resulting in fusion of FUS gene to CREB3L2 gene suggesting that they are related - with LGFMS and SEF representing the low-grade end and high-grade end respectively of the same disease spectrum.
