Comments:
In most cases of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), the neoplastic cells are discohesive and grow in a diffuse pattern. Sometimes the tumor cells form aggregates, nests, or islands separated by fibrous stroma, creating a resemblance to carcinoma. With a pseudocohesive appearance such as that seen in this DLBCL, one should exclude metastatic melanoma, carcinoma or germ cell tumor by doing an appropriate panel of immunohistochemical markers.
