Spindle Cell Lipoma

Comments:
65 y/o male with a large upper back mass. The resection specimen showed a 6.0 cm well-circumscribed mass composed of yellow adipose tissue with firm whitish areas. The tumor is composed of an admixture of uniform spindle cells and adipocytes. The most common location for a spindle cell lipoma is shoulder, posterior neck, and upper back regions.   return to Spindle Cell Lipoma
