Comments:
Adenoid cystic carcinoma of breast consists of an admixture of proliferating glands (adenoid component) and basement membrane material produced by myoepithelial cells (cylindromatous component) distributed in varying proportions throughout the tumor. The tumor cells display many different growth patterns, including cribriform, tubular, trabecular, solid, and basaloid as shown in this image.
