Comments:
Introduction: Hemangioma is the most common primary liver tumor. Most cases are asymptomatic and discovered incidentally on imaging for unrelated pathologies, or at autopsy, or during laparotomy. They are classified as cavernous hemangiomas (most common) or capillary hemangiomas. They consist of blood-filled spaces that are fed by hepatic arterial circulation. This image shows anastomosing vascular channels of a hemangioma in the lower half and liver parenchyma in the upper half.
