Hydatid Cyst - Lung : CT Scan

Comments:
The patient was a 9 y/o middle-eastern male who presented with cough and hemoptysis. Chest CT demonstrates a huge cyst in the left lung. Crumpled laminated membrane can be seen in the bottom of the cyst. He underwent thoracotomy and lobectomy confirming the diagnosis. Case courtesy of Dr Saeed Soltany Hosn, Radiopaedia.org.
