In sporadic Burkitt lymphoma, kidney is one of the many organs that can be involved. The image shows creamy yellow tumor encroaching the renal pelvis as well as encasing the kidney. More than 80% of cases carry the characteristic translocation t(8;14)(q24;q32) which juxtaposes MYC oncogene next to immunoglobulin-heavy chain (IGH) locus.
