Plasmacytoma : Oropharynx

slide 8 of 20

Comments:
Plasmacytoma of the oral cavity (same case as the previous image). The tumor is composed predominantly of mature plasma cells. A few cells have more dispersed chromatin. Intranuclear pseudoinclusions (Dutcher bodies) can be seen within some cells. The deeper aspect of the tumor had more anaplastic areas with several multinucleated tumor cells (next image).
