Comments:
Multiple variably-sized yellow tumor nodules are present in the renal pelvis and throughout the cortex. The tumor nodule in the upper pole (right side of the image) shows a focus of hemorrhage. Angiomyolipomas are multifocal in about 30% of cases and bilateral in about 15% of cases. Multifocality and bilaterality is frequently associated with tuberous sclerosis.
