Topic: Miscellaneous Benign & Malignant Tumors in Kidney

Category: Kidney

slide 10 of 27

Comments:
The tumor cells have uniform vesicular nuclei with evenly distributed chromatin, and occasional small nucleoli. In rare cases, mild nuclear pleomorphism, prominent nucleoli and mitotic figures may be seen. Demonstration of rhomboid protogranules by electron microscopy is diagnostic. Biologic behavior is benign with no recurrence or metastases.   return to Miscellaneous Benign & Malignant Tumors in Kidney
