Anastomosing epithelial strands show peripheral palisading with more loosely arranged cells in the center. The peripheral cells have basaloid appearance and lack significant cytologic atypia. Foci of squamous metaplasia can be seen in the central portion of the epithelial sheets in this image.   return to Odontogenic Tumors
