Thymic Carcinoma : Well-differentiated Non-Keratinizing Epidermoid Carcinoma

Topic: Thymic Carcinomas

Category: Mediastinum

slide 2 of 7

Comments:
High-power view of non-keratinizing epidermoid carcinoma. Malignant epithelial tumors of the thymus have to be distinguished from thymomas and pulmonary tumors invading thymus. Presence of CD5 and CD70 favors thymic carcinoma over thymomas and tumors of non-thymic origin.   return to Thymic Carcinomas
