Solitary fibrous tumor may involve seminal vesicle, prostate, urinary bladder (shown here) and numerous other thoracic and extrathoracic sites. Due to their rarity, solitary fibrous tumors arising in urinary tract may be mistaken for sarcoma. This image shows plump spindle cells with round or oval vesicular nuclei and prominent vascularity.
