Comments:
Well-differentiated embryonal rhabdomyosarcomas such as this case have abundant rhabdomyoblasts containing deeply eosinophilic cytoplasm. In good histologic preparations, cross striations may be evident. Recurrent tumors following therapy may occasionally be composed entirely of rhabdomyoblasts.
