Comments:
Most patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the bladder have history of chronic cystitis secondary to calculi, infection, schsistosomiasis, or cyclophosphamide chemotherapy. In the middle east, where schistosomiasis is common, majority of the bladder cancers are squamous cell carcinomas.
