Comments:
Adenocarcinoma-in-situ of cervix is often found incidentally in cervical biopsies performed for cervical intraepithelial neoplasia. Most patients have an abnormal Pap smear containing dysplastic squamous or glandular cells, or both. Nuclear hyperchromasia and pleomorphism with increased mitotic activity are the diagnostic features.
