Papillary Urothelial Carcinoma, High-grade (WHO/ISUP Classification, 2004) : Lamina propria invasion

Topic: Papillary Urothelial Carcinoma

Category: Urinary Bladder

slide 18 of 27

Comments:
Higher magnification view of the preceding slide. There is little cytologic atypia in this focus. High-grade morphology was present elsewhere in the tumor. Urothelial tumors are graded according to the worst [highest] grade present. There is some resemblance to nested variant of urothelial carcinoma.   return to Papillary Urothelial Carcinoma
