Comments:
This specimen is from a 52 y/o female who presented with swelling on the right side of vulva. Clinical examination and ultrasound revealed a cystic lesion medial to the right labium minor. The lesion was diagnosed as Bartholin cyst and excised. On gross examination, it was found to be a unilocular cyst measuring 5.5 x 4.0 x 3.0 cm. It was filled with serous fluid and had a smooth glistening inner wall. Microscopic examination confirmed the diagnosis of Bartholin cyst.
