Comments:
Luteinized Adult Granulosa Cell Tumor (GCT) of the Ovary: Adult GCTs can show focal or extensive luteinization of granulosa or theca cells, especially in pregnant patients. The tumor cells have abundant eosinophilic or vacuolated cytoplasm and round to oval nuclei with prominent nucleoli. The nuclei often lack longitudinal grooves. However, more typical areas of adult GCT are generally present at the periphery of the tumor.

The center of this image shows nests of luteinized granulosa cells surrounded by more typical areas with a trabecular architecture.
