Malignant Mixed Mullerian Tumor (MMMT)

Topic: Mullerian Mesenchymal Tumors

Category: Ovary

slide 1 of 6

Comments:
MMMT resembles its counterpart seen in the uterus. The homologus type consists of a carcinoma component with an undifferentiated malignant stroma. The carcinomatous areas may be endometrioid (shown here), serous, clear cell, or squamous type. The plump atypical stromal cells in the background constitute the undifferentiated sarcoma.   return to Mullerian Mesenchymal Tumors
