This tumor has high-grade morphology with many giant nuclei, oxyphilic cytoplasm, and frequent mitotic figures. Stage for stage, transitional cell carcinomas of the ovary have worse prognosis than malignant Brenner tumors.   return to Transitional Cell Tumors
