Topic: Epithelioid Sarcoma

Category: Uncertain Histogenesis

slide 8 of 16

Comments:
Given the epithelioid appearance and rarity of this lesion, epithelioid sarcoma is frequently mistaken for benign lesions such as necrotizing infectious granuloma, granuloma annulare, or rheumatoid nodule. The malignant entities in the differential diagnosis include ulcerated squamous cell carcinoma and epithelioid variants of malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor and angiosarcoma,   return to Epithelioid Sarcoma
