Comments:
Another case of epithelioid sarcoma showing epithelioid and spindle tumor cells. Epithelioid sarcomas require long-term follow-up due to risk of late recurrences and metastasis. Adverse prognostic indicators include: male gender, proximal location (trunk or proximal limb), tumor size >5cm, deep-seated tumor, hemorrhage, necrosis, vascular invasion and positive margins. Ten-year survival rate is about 50%.    return to Epithelioid Sarcoma
