Comments:
Another view of pleomorphic areas in an alveolar soft part sarcoma. Most of the tumor had conventional appearance. Cytogenetic studies of alveolar soft part sarcoma have shown an unbalanced translocation der(17)t(X;17)(p11.2;q25). This results in fusion of TFE3 transcription factor gene to the ASPSCR1 gene.   return to Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma
