Topic: Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma

Category: Uncertain Histogenesis

Comments:
Intermediate power view showing alveolar pattern and detached cells in the center. The exact histogenesis of alveolar soft part sarcoma is uncertain. Recent studies seem to support the view that it may be of myogenous derivation and represent a peculiar form of rhabdomyosarcoma.   return to Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma
