MPNST : Pleomorphic

Some malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors have anaplastic features and may be difficult to distinguish from other pleomorphic sarcomas. An example is shown here. The tumor showed highly anaplastic cells with irregular, hyperchromatic nuclei and numerous atypical mitotic figures.
