Lymphangioma of Mesentery

Comments:
The patient was a 9 y/o female who presented with abdominal distension. Abdominal CT scan revealed a septate cystic lesion adherent to the ileum. The specimen shows a 10 cm. thin-walled cystic lesion arising from the mesentery of ileum. Gross and microscopic findings were diagnostic of lymphangioma. Case contributed by: Dr. Sanjay D.
