Comments:
Bednar tumor is a slow-growing cutaneous tumor resembling DFSP that also contains dendritic cells with melanin. They account for less than 5% of DFSP's. The amount of melanin varies from case to case and within the tumor. The pigment containing cells have bipolar or multipolar appearance. Its biological behavior is similar to that of conventional DFSP.
