Comments:
Higher magnification of the previous image showing predominantly lepidic growth pattern with proliferation of atypical pneumocytes along the alveolar surfaces. The lepidic areas appear to be merging with papillary structures. This phenomenon of different histologic types blending with one another is seen commonly in lung adenocarcinomas and represents a morphologic continuum.
