Basaloid Squamous Cell Carcinoma

slide 18 of 26

Comments:
Basaloid squamous cell carcinoma in the right half and conventional well-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma in the left half of the image. It should be noted that some basaloid carcinomas are variants of adenocarcinoma or undifferentiated large cell carcinoma. The current case of basaloid carcinoma is clearly a variant of squamous cell carcinoma since typical squamous cell carcinoma is nearby.
