Comments:
High power view of a mediastinal ganglioneuroma showing ganglions and Schwann cells. The tumor has excellent prognosis. Complete resection is curative. The prognosis is somewhat unpredictable for ganglioneuroblastomas and least favorable for neuroblastomas arising in the mediastinum.
